Hello people! This is my first entry since i arrived in T.M(Chennai).Its been 5 days and now im stationed in Trichy(for those who wldnt know what it is,its the the 2nd biggest city besides chennai(madras) in tamil nadu,South of India.Place of all dravidians. :p
As i'm lying on my bed in my hotel and am blogging at 2.30 am(india time) cos theres so much to share abt my trip thus far.But im gona be brief cos im half-tipsy and feeling feverish after gulping 1/2 of and 1/2 bottle of INDIAN RUM.Im here in my room with my bro who's fast asleep while my parents are sharing another room opp us.
As guys we needed the privacy and we've got it!haha. Its been fun so far,having the late night outs ,buying packs of ciggies illegally,smoking and drinking behind our parent's back..lol. More or less a bachelors life eh..cos as tourists we cant do much either here.Reason being we've been here and doing that countless number of times(visiting relatives and templs)BUT this time round my sis is not around so its benificial for the bros as we get to do wat we want without being paotohed*sabo lah..haha
This is my first time in india that i get to buy their local liquor and ciggies to taste them first hand.The brands ive tried so far is Signature/mcDonalds and OLD monk(a must try rum!).
They go at a steal for 60rps/$2 for a 1/4 140rps/6 fr 1/2s and 260rps/10 for fulls.A pack of 10 filters go for a mere dollar(notaxes and shit like singapore).How i wish i was born in india and enjoy all resources ! and do what every indian teenager wld do(ragging and stuff..hahaha its super cool!)
After 6 long yrs,im here to see a few new/old faces and the temples ive longed to see.Its been a gd exp also,as im seeing life from a 22yr old's perspective.All my cousins here are grown up and see them prospering in studies and other related areas feels good actually.How i wish indian girls back in sg could live and behave like the village girls,but that will never happen even if singapore's striked by tsunami.LOL
Blogging seems like time-killing for me.Living in india makes me think as u dunt get to exp life of city people and villagers at one go ..haha might migrate here for the serenity in future(plans ongoing as my parents are headhunting for a property in trichy) but i doubt so ah cos too much corruption ahh...u need more to give here as bribes than to feed urself.lol. THATS INDIA for u!
Time's flying.Tomor night's my flight.Once im back ill update the pics of my trip inclusive of the INDIAN liquours and ciggies!hahaha.
